The American Arms Abolition & Accountability Act (AAIII) is a bold, comprehensive legislative framework designed to end gun violence in the United States by fundamentally transforming the nation’s relationship with firearms. Grounded in public safety, accountability, and constitutional reform, AAIII proposes a nationwide abolition of civilian-owned firearms while establishing clear, enforceable systems for compliance, enforcement, and long-term prevention.
AAIII introduces a structured, time-limited national firearm surrender and buyback program, coupled with strict penalties for noncompliance, including fines, license revocations, asset liens, and graduated criminal liability. The Act emphasizes accountability not only for individuals, but also for manufacturers, distributors, and institutions that have historically profited from widespread gun proliferation.
Beyond enforcement, AAIII invests in community safety alternatives, funding mental health services, violence-prevention programs, economic reintegration, and victim compensation initiatives. The Act also outlines constitutional pathways for reform, anticipating judicial review and establishing legal mechanisms to withstand court challenges while prioritizing public welfare.
AAIII is not merely a gun law, it is a national reset. Its goal is to move the United States toward a future where public safety is no longer dependent on personal armament, where accountability replaces impunity, and where lives are valued over weapons.
AAIII envisions an America where safety is collective, justice is enforceable, and gun violence is no longer normalized.
